Saw this on Ashley's blog and thought I would do it. I love these things!

Always
~ Put spicy salsa on everything
~ Thinking how I can better organize anything
~ Drink a glass of Organic Skim milk in the morning
~ Love a quiet and empty house
~ Start dancing when I hear a song with a good beat
~ Wear flip flops and jeans
~ Feel guilty when I say no to people
~ Have to have an even number of everything
~ Prefer Hugs
Sometimes
~ Stay in pajamas all day long
~ Cry when I hear a great song
~ Wish I lived closer to my best friend
~ Wish it was Christmas time all year round
~ Wonder what I’m going to be like when I’m a wife/mom one day
~ Get excited about folding towels and watching tv
~ I forget I’m not a kid anymore
~ Get extremely nervous in new situations
Never
~ Forget to brush my teeth
~ Use condiments (except salsa!)
~ Get tired of snuggling
~ Can get through the whole ASPCA commercial without tearing up
~ Eat oranges – the texture freaks me out
~ Go to bed before midnight
~ Not do my homework
~ Want to become a negative person

Always Catching Up

Alright so I never have keep up with this thing. Lets give it another go. :)

So lets see what has been going on since November....

Well we had my Grandparents in from mid December til mid March. It was so great to have them here. Here are some pics from the grand kid BBQ/ Game Night.
















Game night was fun. It is very rare that we can get everyone in the mood to play games and be in a good mood. We played Yahtzee with the gparents and then moved on to The Office game. So much fun!

Other than that, I have been focusing on school and getting through the semester alive, haha! I'm also planning a baby shower for my sister Beth. She is due at the beginning of July. It seems like time is just flying by. Seems like it wasn't that long ago that she told me I was going to be an Aunty! I can't wait.

Well I think this is enough for tonight. Hopefully I will have more later this week. :)

A Few of God's Favorite Things

So the other night I was babysitting a precious 4 year old girl named Ruby. She is so incredibly smart and creative. We were sitting at the table while she ate her snack before bed and she started sharing with me what she thought God's favorite things were (very matter of factly).

Here is what she came up with:

Favorite Drink: Chocolate Soy Milk
Favorite Animal: Giraffe - "because they're big like him."
Favorite snack: Fruits and veggies, esp. "Canti'mulope". He doesn't eat sugar unless it comes from fruit.
Favorite Yogurt: Vanilla - "because it is just so good"

This went on for about 20 minutes - with a bathroom break of course. She returned from the potty saying "Lets talk some more about The King of Kings and The Lord of Lords".

SO CUTE!!!!

Books

Hey Everyone!!!!!

So I was just writing because I am starting to build my classroom library for my future classroom. I was wondering if any of you decide to get rid of any children’s books if you wouldn’t mind offering them to me. Also, if you know of anyone else getting rid of books if you could pass my info on to them. That would be fabulous too. Or if know any teachers that might be retiring or deciding to no longer teach that would be an amazing contact for me.

My certification will be Early Education through sixth grade. Any books would be helpful. The condition does not matter to me. Obviously use your best judgment, but even if the book has a few rips I can repair that.
